• To verify your identity as a licensed ham operator.
• To maintaining our publicly searchable operator directory.
• To facilitate interactions within the marketplace and community hub.
• To communicate official updates from the QRZ India News Desk.

3. Data Sharing & Public Visibility

Amateur Radio is a public-facing hobby. Your callsign, name, and general location (City/State) are visible to other users. Your specific street address and phone number are only visible to logged-in, verified members or as per your specific profile settings.

We **never** sell your data to third-party advertisers or marketers.

4. Data Sync with Global Registry

QRZ India synchronizes data with the global amateur radio XML API. Information imported from these sources is handled according to our standard privacy protocols and global amateur radio data practices.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures (secure local database and encrypted authentication) to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Your Rights

You may update or delete your profile information at any time through your dashboard. If you wish to have your callsign completely removed from our directory, please contact our administrative team.
